Redesigning for a Community Loved Cafe
Pluto Organic Cafe is a small family-owned business located in the heart of downtown Seattle.
Working closely with the owner, I helped reimagine Pluto Organic Café’s brand and space to reflect its warm, natural ethos. The transformation began with an expansive green wall—a lush backdrop that doubled as a canvas for their new slogan, “Fuel Your Orbit,” a creative nod to their celestial name and wholesome offerings. To enhance the ambiance, I designed a floating plant installation, adding softness and movement to the space.
Beyond aesthetics, the updates drove tangible engagement: the café saw an expanded customer base, with locals and influencers alike praising the redesign—even using the green wall and hanging plants as backdrops for social content. Practical branding solutions included revitalizing the menu for a modern feel, crafting cup stickers to refresh existing inventory, and designing brochures to connect with the community. To encourage repeat visits, I introduced a sleek new loyalty card and eye-catching coupon cards distributed at nearby hotspots. Every detail reinforced Pluto’s identity as a fresh, inviting haven—proving that thoughtful design can orbit both beauty and business success.
