Iconography That Speaks Volumes in Minimal Space

At Microsoft Azure, I specialized in the art of visual distillation - transforming complex cloud services into instantly recognizable 64px icons. Each icon had to communicate an entire product's essence at thumbnail size while maintaining Azure's cohesive design language.

My process was deeply collaborative: I worked directly with engineering teams to understand technical nuances, then translated those insights into clean, metaphorical visuals. This required balancing technical accuracy with intuitive storytelling - creating symbols that resonated equally with enterprise architects and first-time users.

My work extended across Azure’s ecosystem, including product illustrations for Remote Desktop landing pages, email campaigns, and feature launches that guided users through new experiences. I also created recruitment graphics used by Azure’s VP and leadership to attract top design talent. Whether working at pixel scale or full-screen, my goal remained consistent: to make cloud technology feel approachable, trustworthy, and human—turning technical complexity into clear visual stories.
